Background
Seth was born in Nashville TN and began playing travel hockey at age 8, playing the position of goaltender. He started out playing for the Nashville Predators development program, then moved to the Nashville Flyers where he has played at the AA level. He will end his hockey career in 2026 to pursue full-time racing. Seth attends Franklin Road Academy prep school in Nashville where he maintains a 3.51 GPA
How It Started
Seth began racing a used Tony Kart in 2023 at a small track in Shelbyville TN. He immediately demonstrated a love and aptitude for the speed and skill involved in racing. He rapidly developed and by 2025 was racing full-time at the nationally recognized Newcastle Motorsports Park (NCMP) in Newcastle IN, under the guidance of national karting champion Jamie Bradford. During the 2025 campaign at NCMP Seth honed his racing skills and saw quick results with numerous podiums and multiple first place finishes. He also continued to race in Nashville at Music City Kartplex where he also had consistent podiums and multiple first place finishes. But karting was not Seth's end goal.
The Path Forward
During 2025 he began testing various automotive platforms with his automotive coach, Owen Trinkler, a highly decorated veteran of multiple IMSA race series. In each format (Porsche, Miata, NP01) Seth demonstrated tremendous progress and rapid comprehension of the skills needed to drive each vehicle. With these outcomes the decision was taken to move full-time into automotive racing.
Starting in 2026 Seth will compete in the 14-race USSA Kenyon Midget Series, with the Jeff Hill Trailer Sales team. He will also compete in a number of HSR and SVRA races driving the Vintage Racing #81 MX-5 Miata. His goal for 2027 is to compete in the Mazda MX-5 Cup IMSA series.
